A Vez e a Voz da Mulher Portuguesa na Diáspora

仁慈堂歷史悠久，可追溯至15世紀的葡萄牙。澳門仁慈堂於1569年由耶穌會士賈耐勞主教建立的，隨即為貧窮者興建了一所醫院和一所痲瘋病院，連接旁邊的座小教堂，這就是今天的望德聖母堂。此後，仁慈堂陸續開展其他社會服務，例如建立院舍，以保護被遺棄兒童、孤兒、寡婦、犯錯的婦女；對貧困人士、無依無靠者進行上門援助等。仁慈堂身兼慈善團體、銀行、保險公司於一身，在19世紀初，更涉獵博彩及彩票事宜。仁慈堂在其悠長的歷史軌道上，對澳門的社會、民生及經濟發展息息相關，本書作了一一探討。
本書是同名研討會論文集。來自美國、加拿大、葡萄牙、巴西、非洲、香港、澳門等地的專家學者就不同課題進行深入和跨文化的探討，討論課題包括女性作家、藝術家、文學或歷史人物等。與會者普遍認為今天的婦女已能頂起半邊天，在不同領域扮演著重要的角色。
In the third congress under the motto “The Voice and the Choice of Portuguese Women” at the University of Macau, in May 2007, it has been decided to use the term Diaspora rather Emigration. Once more women were the topic: woman writers, artists, literary or historical characters. It is really meaningful, though, that women have been conquering a place in the world. This is the main theme of this book. Na Terceira edição do congresso internacional “A Vez e a Voz da Mulher Portuguesa”, realizado na Universidade de Macau em Maio de 2007, acentuou-se a ideia de Diáspora, mais do que a da Emigração. Uma vez mais, falou-se de mulheres autoras, de mulheres artistas, de personagens literárias ou históricas… mas o mais importante é que se vai, pouco a pouco, lançando luz sobre as figuras femininas que, num ou noutro campo, têm vindo a conquistar o seu lugar no mundo.
