When the author was preparing her Masters dissertation in 1995, she found a report of the Embassy of Pero Vaz de Siqueira. She noticed it to be of great importance, both because it reported on the diplomatic and economic ties between Macau and Siam, as well as contained information on the Siamese society of the time. This manuscript of the Embassy of Pero Vaz de Siqueira to Siam is to be found in the Historical Archives of Goa, in Pangim. As with most of the documents found in the Archives of Goa, this particular document is not well kept.
