This book is written by practitioners and experts with day to day experience to support the work of managers, engineers and administrators in the protection of the environment. The current terminology in environmental management and technology has been compiled both in English and in Chinese. Gottfried Eigenmann was Head of the Environmental Audit Group, Ciba-Geigy. From 1991, he has been a private consultant specializing in environmental auditing.

Lu Fu-run is Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Environmental Protection Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemistry Industry, PRC.
