The film is a production of U-Theque Organization. It researches San Yuan Li, a typical village in city of GUANG ZHOU. It argues the burden pf history, the dilemma between modernizations and heritage of local culture known as Ling Nan Zong Fa. The film also shows its unique architectures as well as its historic interests. It is a poem written by black and white images.

《三元里》從三元里這個城中村開始對廣州進行切片研究，它以城市漫步者的姿態，探討歷史之債、現代化與嶺南宗法聚落文化的衝突與調和、都市村莊的奇異建築和人文景觀，最後形成一部黑白影像詩篇。
