Chen Ko Hua (Taiwan) was born in Hualein, Taiwan in 1961, Ko-Hua Chen is a famous and controversial poet and gay writer. He is an ophthalmologist in Taipei Veterans General Hospital and Associate Professor at the National Yang-Ming University, Taipei. He has won several important literature awards of poetry since his teenage and published more than thirty books of his poems, short stories and articles in Taiwan. Besides, he is also a visual artist, photographer and a lyric writer. His books of translated poems in German, English and Japanese will be published in 2011.
