計劃簡介

　　本計劃於1996年起，兩度獲「香港政府研究資助局」撥款資助，收錄當今海內外七種主要大型甲骨書籍，共計卜辭53,834片。研究計劃分兩期進行，歷時五載，合共整理、校勘約近100萬字甲骨卜辭，並悉數輸入電腦，建立以甲骨文字形為系統的，並具有多項類目功能檢索的甲骨文資料庫。資料庫建成後，不僅方便了有志研究甲骨文學者之需要，亦符合古文字學專業學者之學術要求，對商代政治、社會和歷史文化的深入全面研究，意義重大。

本資料庫特色﹕

1. 採用七種甲骨著錄，均為海內外具有國家級受譽的出版審定書物。
2. 所有甲骨文字經研究人員重新臨摹並加校勘、釋文。
3. 在視窗系統上，可以同時顯示甲骨文字原字形及隸定釋文，方便讀者參照。
4. 設有收錄所有甲骨文字之字形總表，每字下附有釋文、隸定字、《類纂》編號，並增補相當數量前人未收錄的甲骨文字及其片號。
5. 提供便捷檢索功能，可以通過甲骨單字、關聯字串以及句式進行檢索。
6. 提供甲骨文字出現字數頻率數據，以便專業學者研究分析。
   

A Computerized Database of Oracular Inscriptions on Tortoise Shells and Bones

Project Summary
The project was funded twice by the Research Grants Council of the Hong Kong Government since 1996 to build up a computerized database based on seven mainland and overseas major collections of oracular inscriptions on 53,834 pieces of original tortoise shells and bones. The project was divided into two phases spanning five years. Over one million words of oracular inscriptions were emended and inputted into computers, establishing a database based on original Jiagu characters with multiple search functions. The database not only will fulfill the needs of those who are interested in researching on oracular inscriptions, but also the academic requirements of the field.

Special Features

1. Using seven mainland and overseas major collections of oracular inscriptions.
2. All Jiagu characters were copied, emended and interpreted by our researchers.
3. Original Jiagu characters and orthographic translation can be displayed juxtaposed each other.
4. There is a complete table of all Jiagu characters with orthographic translation and individual numbers in the Leizuan. A number of previously unrecorded Jiagu characters and bone pieces were also added.
5. With multiple search functions: single words, phrases and sentence structures.
6. It provides the frequencies of each individual Jiagu characters.
