Asian Anthropology

Daoism: Religion, History and Society

Jointly published by the Centre for Studies of Daoist Culture, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient, is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to the publication of original research articles exploring Daoism in its social and historical contexts from the pre-modern to the contemporary period. The journal encourages innovative research based on new documents and/or fieldwork. The editors plan to publish one issue each year. Resolutely bilingual English-Chinese, each issue will have articles in both languages, with an abstract in the other language.

Journal of Translation Studies

The Journal of Translation Studies, launched in 1997, is edited by the Department of Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and published by The Chinese University Press. It contains mainly Chinese and English articles on the theory, history, and method of translating and interpreting, translation criticism, bibliographies, and book reviews as well as works of translation in Chinese. Articles written in languages other than Chinese and English are also published.
